Click on the dock item (home page, facebook.com) in the browser dock to be taken to the relevant websites.

Note: Normal browser tabs appear in their usual place but do not appear in the prototype below. The URL bar is only an image.

The idea behind the docked browser urls is for new internet users (wether they are children or adults in a developing country,) to immediately start browsing the web by visiting more than one website instead of only whats on their homepage without having to learn or type in website url addresses.

Dock items in a 600px wide window

Home Page
Google
Facebook.com
Facebook
Mozilla.com
Mozilla
Twitter.com
Twitter: What..
Mashable.com
Social Media..

The Example Below has a wider screen and has an extra dock tab on the right (Youtube) with the home page set as Facebook instead of Google.

Dock Tabs in a 900px wide window (Wider than above example)

Home Page
Facebook
Google.com
Google
Mozilla.com
Mozilla
Twitter.com
Twitter: What..
Mashable.com
Social Media..
Youtube.com
Youtube

It is not only new users that benefit from the idea. Heavy internet users who wish to visit their favorite websites quickly and businesses that wish to limit the number of websites accessed can also benefit from using a Dock of website urls.
