Once again we teamed up with the wonderful folks at IxDA, a network dedicated to the professional practice of Interaction Design and Johnny Holland, an open collective, talking, sharing and finding answers about all aspects of interaction design. Together we invite the wider community to join us in this challenge, develop concepts and submit them to our sites.
For this Design Challenge we focused on finding creative solutions to the question: "The Home Tab — What are some interesting uses of a Firefox-hosted start page?"
Out of the nearly 50 submitted concepts a panel, including Jennifer Boriss, Alex Faaborg, Stephen Horlander and Alexander Limi (the Firefox UX team) selected five "Best in Class" honors. We also invited the wider community to vote for their personal favorites and bestow the "People's Choice" award.
Bubble Stacks are an imaginative look into behavioral analysis. This concept improves the experience by organizing concepts into logical packages of websites.
I tried to forget the ideas about gadgets and widgets and focus more on useful functionalities that may help users in their daily browsing experience...
Identities, a website launcher, browsing sessions, and a task-oriented ultrasmart search box define my concept. And it's cool! For more: yatriksolanki.com/fx
